The annual Stanhope and Bovis Lend Lease Alliance Ball that Clipfine has supported since it began seven years ago, has evolved from a small 'thank you' party into a major charity event raising some £1.475 million.

Initially the money raised by the ball was channeled by beneficiary UNICEF directly into its fight against AIDS. However, during a trip to Malawi to see the ravages of the disease firsthand, Alliance Ball committee members resolved to take an active and targeted role in helping the children of the poverty-stricken nation.

A hospital, so packed full of young victims of malnutrition that there was no room indoors for parents to wait, inspired the team to build a new wing for the QEII Hospital in Blantyre, increasing its capacity and providing valuable training space. The new wing is now open and making life better for children.

Clipfine were delighted to additionally provide hard-hats and hi-vis for the opening event!
