Team Stadium recognised for highest health, safety and environment achievements

Individuals and teams working on London 2012's Olympic Park have been recognised for their efforts to make the construction project one of the safest and greenest in the UK.

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) awards, judged by an independent adjudication panel coordinated by the British Safety Council, recognised the performance and contribution of five teams and four individuals working on London 2012 projects.

John Armitt, Olympic Delivery Authority Chairman said: "Health and safety has to be at the heart of a project of this size, scale and complexity. A huge amount of progress has been achieved in the last year and thanks to the people that these awards recognise, we have done that with safety being the number one priority."

Clipfine's Chief Executive Chris Massie is a member of the Team Stadium Safety Leadership Team which won 'The Commitment to Exemplar Performance' category and was involved in setting up the 'Be Safe, Home Safe Campaign'.
