Our qualified waste managers are dedicated to the implementation of these plans.
We understand the nature of construction activity generating waste, and we produce project-specific plans to identify waste streams and seek ways to mitigate them.
We operate a number of waste reduction methods. This service includes:
We categorise all elements of waste, record all vehicle movements, and prepare transfer notes and weighbridge tickets to provide chain of custody records. We create material re-use areas, provide waste stream identification signage, and specific equipment for storage and treatment of waste (such as balers, de-gassing units for hazardous waste, and plasterboard chippers).
Our haulier partners receive waste for recycling, and we initiate “take back” schemes for unused materials and packaging.
Monthly waste reports identify recycling key performance indicators. Using our network of local waste hauliers and transfer stations, data is collated to produce realistic figures for compliance.
All unauthorised waste is recorded and reported, with “clean-up” notices issued to offending parties. If offenders fail to remove non-compliant waste, we do so and administer appropriate charges.
Our waste managers coordinate the recycling of waste materials on site. This service includes:
